About

The North Pole Charity is a non for profit organization founded by Dr. Nicholas Loffredo in June of 2019.  The mission of the charity is to inspire goodwill and hope through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the enrichment of children.

Dr. Loffredo was inspired to begin this charity after witnessing the multitude of charitable works by his colleagues at Genesee Orthopaedics and through the UMMC Foundation. The Batavia community has a tremendous history of philanthropy with the inspiring annual Ricky Palermo golf tournament which has raised over 1 million dollars to sponsor those affected by spinal cord injuries.

The North Pole Charity has raised over $50,000 since beginning the annual fundraiser golf tournament in 2019. The proceeds from the golf tournament were donated to the United Memorial Medical Center (UMMC) Foundation. UMMC is the largest employer in Genesee County and represents more than 900 employees, all committed to providing patients with personalized, comprehensive, and state-of-the-art care.
